Speaker

Jennifer Wilson

I grew up in Redding, California.  For college, I attended George Fox University and got a degree in Elementary Education. There, I met my husband, Andy, and we were married the summer after we graduated.
We have been married for almost 24 years and have three nearly grown children.  Ken is finishing up his last year at Grand Canyon University and plans to pursue a career in law enforcement.  Aidan (who you may know as Polo) is in his first year at Grand Canyon University and hopes to pursue full-time camp ministry.  Our youngest, Abby (aka Curly Fry),  is a Junior at Barlow High School and keeps us busy with her water polo and swim team commitments.
Over the years, I’ve held various work positions. But the job that I’m proudest of is my 10+ years as a stay-at-home mom.  I’ve also been a health assistant, worked with children with special needs, and taught and directed a Christian preschool.  I currently serve as an Administrative Assistant and Children’s Ministry Director at Cornerstone Church in Gresham.

In my spare time, I love to travel.  My husband and I have spent a lot of time in England, and have led church trips there for the past 3 summers.  We are excited to continue to explore new places.  On the top of our bucket list are Banff, Iceland, and Greece. I love to hike, read, grow perennial flowers, watch British Mystery shows, and spend time with my family.

I’ve known the Lord from a young age and through life’s highs and lows He has been my constant.  I’m passionate about always putting the Lord first in our lives, as He is the source and fullness of life itself.
